Using an overhead projector, an ELMO projector, or a whiteboard, students can edit the letters written to the group by Rudolph, the classroom friend. These lessons teach common core curriculum for language arts, and much more. Your students will learn letter writing, editing, and one of the hardest of the six writing traits – voice. Children love to find out what Rudolph has to say each day as they read and correct his messages.

This unit contains a letter for each school day in December. It has stationery for the students to write a letter to Rudolph. There is an instruction sheet with suggestions, and an answer key. There is even a booklet you can print for each student to work on individually.

Your students will LOVE this month long activity!
